How can you reach a point of saying “Thus far the Lord has helped me” after suffering, tragedy, or trauma? We continue our study of the book of 1st Samuel today in chapter 7.

When do we worship idols? Politics, jobs, children; anything easily becomes an idol until God mercifully slays our idol and draws us back to his forgiveness and love. We continue our study of the book of 1st Samuel, today in chapters five and six.

Can we practice idolatry in the name of worshiping God? Absolutely; it is one of the most natural things to do. The Israelites did it at the end of Eli‘s life, and Christians do it today. How do we recognize it? How do we avoid it? We continue our study of the book of first Samuel, today in chapter 4.

Why are teens and young adults essential to the message of Christ for our sins? Why was Samuel the exception? We continue our study of the book of First Samuel, today in chapter 3 with God calling Samuel to serve him.
